Yes, Jimmy ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Hendrix is in the resistance. In Fergus timeline, there is a resistance member who is a crazy old lady. In Wyatt timeline, you get upgrades that boost how much each piece of armour gives you (so you get +6 armour instead of +5, +55 armour instead of +50, stuff like that). In Fergus timeline, you get upgrades to your maximum health. This creates different routes through the levels. Now the whole tone of this scene is supposed.
#Wolfenstein the new order alternate ending free
I died the first time in the whole playthrough in the first 20 seconds after he breaks free from the cuffs. Just finished it on my most recent playthrough and the difficulty is ramped the fuck up as everyone knows. In Fergus timeline, you learn to hotwire control panels, in Wyatt timeline you learn to lockpick doors. The courthouse part in New Colossus should have had an alternate ending if you died. There are several things changed by the different timelines: (To keep all your perks start a game by choosing chapter one on chapter select, rather than doing 'new game'.) Combine that with playing on a different timeline, and that is plenty of incentive to play the game a second time. You can replay the game on a harder difficulty, or using an enigma code, or with all the perks and weapon upgrades unlocked. The two timeline thing is great as it means that you get a slightly different story and dialogue if you replay the game.
That being said the grenade thing was a bit dissapointing. There's no gaurentee that Deathshead couldn't just hide in a bunker or something when the time came. Well the point was that he went their to save Anya and the others, which is why they didn't just outright nuke the place.Īs for the showdown, BJ wanted to make sure Deathshead stays dead this time since he survived the last game. Maybe it's realistic that he could be killed this way, but it is as far from satisfying as it could be.
I mean normally the hero dies saving people or something, here he dies for no reason *after* beating the villain. The whole thing with the grenade also felt incredibly cheesy. If they had just nuked the place without the big showdown between BJ and Deathshead, the result would have been the same. Ursprünglich geschrieben von kaffekoppen:It's not really the fact that he died (or maybe not) that gets to me, it's how pointless his death really was.
